Welcome to the GEN Europe membership application form for ecovillages, ecoprojects and networks! 

We are so delighted that you are applying to become a member of GEN Europe and with this an integral part of the European Ecovillage Network which will open up a whole world of wonderful connections and opportunities for you!

Before applying, please make sure you have read our information page to decide which of the membership categories listed below fits you best and aligns with our criteria.

Please be aware that aspiring ecovillage and network members are asked to connect with their buddy communities/networks prior to filling out the application form. Please find a detailed outline of all application steps in our Membership FAQ.

Upon submission, we will take 3-4 business days to review your application and in the meanwhile you will already be granted access to all our membership benefits. After that, we hope to inform you about the successful approval of your membership application. 
Should we encounter your application to be incomplete or not yet meet our criteria - we will discuss how we can best support you in meeting our criteria.

Important note on browsers

This registration form supports Chromium based browsers (e.g. Brave and Chrome) and Firefox.  It has not been tested with other browsers and thus, the registration flow might not work properly if you use them.

In order to be able to place you on our map, we need to know the latitude and longitude of its location. You can obtain the latitude and longitude of your community by using e.g. this website
Please note that on the basis of our membership criteria, we ask all ecoprojects and aspiring ecovillages to have been in existence for at least one year and networks for at least 6 months at the time of application.
Please note that on the basis of our membership criteria, we ask for at least 2 project members for ecoprojects, 3 ecoprojects or/and ecovillages members for networks and 5 permanent and non-family related adults for aspiring members at the time of application.

We invite you to join Yes to Sustainability (YTS)
A network of young people, youth workers, venues and organizations who bring together young people in ecovillages and sustainable projects throughout Europe. Organizing any trainings, and youth exchanges under the umbrella of YTS can offer many benefits to your project or/and network.

In GEN Europe, we consider these prices as clear guidelines for a minimum membership fee, but if members are not able to afford these fees, we will still welcome them as members, as we want to be an inclusive network and finances should not be a barrier - but we still ask and highly encourage our members to give generously based on what we suggest and re-evaluate their contribution on an annual basis, based on their financial situation.

The form contains a minimum yearly contribution of 20€ to avoid automatic attempts at testing credit card numbers. We invite you to calculate your contribution based on the suggested minimum contribution table and enter it in the corresponding field below.
