Dear community,

More than a month has passed since we gathered at Nature Community, and yet the Gathering stays with us - in the friendships formed, the conversations that opened new doors, and the quiet shifts in how we see what's possible together.

To help those memories stay vivid, this newsletter brings you the Gathering Photo Album and the Aftermovie, alongside recordings of our keynote sessions for anyone who wants to revisit (or discover for the first time) the conversations that shaped our time together. We're also sharing an essay from keynote speaker Martin Winiecki, and new offerings of Nonviolent Global Liberation for our network.

As always, there's more than memories to share: updates on individual member perks (a reminder that everyone who attended the Gathering is now a GEN Europe member!), and a save-the-date: next year's Gathering is likely set for July 12–17, 2027.

We hope these resources keep the spirit of daring to trust and togetherness alive in you, as we continue shaping a more regenerative and just world - for all!

✨The European Ecovillage Gathering 2026 Aftermovie ✨

This year we gathered at Nature Community, Germany to explore trust as the foundation of resilience, cooperation, and hope - in each other, in the Earth's capacity to heal, and in our collective ability to build a regenerative future.

Relive the magic!

Our keynote speeches from Céline Lebrun Shaath, Miki Kashtan, Martin Winiecki, Jason Nardi, Thalea Tane, Silvano Rizzi, Tam Omond and Julio Greenway are now available on YouTube and PeerTube - dive back into the ideas that sparked so much reflection at this year's Gathering!
✍️Community Beyond Escape

In this reflective essay, our keynote speaker Martin Winiecki asks a thought-provoking question: are ecovillages islands of privilege, or agents of collective liberation?

🤝 Continuing the Work: NGL Offerings & Resources

We are including a new landing  page on our website because we so deeply appreciated what Nonviolent Global Liberation offered during this year’s Gathering: to us (as organizers, staff, and council); to individual participants at the gathering; and to a few community groups and projects. Visit the page here to find ways of continuing to receive support from NGL within your communities and as individuals.

We also know that people really appreciated their workshops and contributions to the opening ceremony and keynote speech. So much so, that we are including here link to the audio of the “From Anti-Oppression to Liberation for All” workshop.
