As part of a GEN Europe member, your registration process is handled specifically to ensure you receive your member benefits and delegate discounts.

Important Dates:

• General Assembly (GA): July 9–13 (Delegates)
• The Gathering: July 13–18 (Open to all)

General member guidelines for the events:

• The General Assembly (GA) generally is for delegates only
• The Gathering is open to all representatives of our members (delegates and participants) and the general public.
• The GA has no ticket price – you only pay for food & accommodation
• Delegates can vote at the GA and get a discounted Gathering ticket
• Each community has a limited number of discounted delegate Gathering tickets, depending on membership type
• To access discounted delegate tickets, at least one delegate must attend the GA

Next GEN's Youth Hub at the 2026 Gathering is envisioned as a space for youth-led workshops, co-creation, connection, hanging out — and eventually also some celebration & parties. As costs can be a barrier for many young people, they are offering a limited number of discounts with the options to get a 60€ discount on food and accommodation tickets and/or a 50€ discount on the Gathering ticket.

Are you curious about the Adult Education opportunities available through Erasmus+? Whether you're just starting to explore the program or already have specific questions, you're warmly invited to join our online Q&A session.

Already have an approved Adult Education grant? If your organization or community has recently had an Erasmus+ Adult Education project approved, we'd love to connect with you! We are planning an online meeting for grant holders to explore how we can collaborate, exchange experiences, support one another, and create synergies across the GEN Europe network.

Big news for GEN Europe individual members! We are cooking up a brand-new, monthly online course running from September 2026 to June 2027 to help you dive deep into the skills needed for ecovillage and community life. Think sociocracy, emotional literacy, collective decision-making, and deep group connection - culminating in a live, offline meetup at the 2027 Gathering!

We are currently working on refreshing GEN Europe's member area! Do you have any recommendations for books, podcasts, articles or videos that could be of interest for other members? Let us know, so they can be shared with the network :)

Our recent online info session on the 16th of June about Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps brought together members from across the GEN Europe network to explore opportunities for international learning, volunteering, and collaboration.

With almost 30 participants joining live, the session was filled with questions, inspiring exchanges, and ideas for future projects.

We were also grateful to hear from representatives of Yes to Sustainability and NextGEN, who shared their experiences with Erasmus+ and ESC projects and offered valuable insights into getting involved.

The enthusiasm shown during the session highlighted the growing interest in these programs within our network. Because of this positive response, we're exploring the possibility of offering a similar info session during one of the Open Space sessions at the upcoming General Assembly & Gathering, making it easier for even more members to discover how Erasmus+ and ESC can support their comm

Twenty-eight youth workers, facilitators and educators from 11 European countries came together in Arterra Bizimodu in November 2025 for an Erasmus+ training course exploring how graphic facilitation, embodied learning and collective intelligence can strengthen youth work and create more inclusive, collaborative learning environments. The results are now available in an open-access publication.

📅 September 14th to October 26th |📍Ängsbacka, Sweden

Ängsbacka will be carrying out a large-scale eco-construction project to create what they call our Forest Village. They are looking for ESC volunteers who are passionate about community, sustainability, and hands-on projects, highly motivated people ready to dedicate their energy to practical work and communal involvement.

If you care about the impact of your work, care about the experience of participants, or care about values-based education and facilitation, this training is for you! 

The C.A.R.E Training of Trainers intensive has pedagogy as craft at heart; namely the methodology of Direct education developed by Training for Change.
